August was a thrilling month for two-wheeler enthusiasts, with several exciting new launches hitting the roads! From electric motorcycles to scooters, this month's launches had something for every kind of rider. Let's take a look at some of the most notable two-wheelers launched in August, and see what makes them stand out from the pack.
1. TVS Jupiter 110
Price: Rs 73,700 (ex-showroom Delhi)
TVS has updated the Jupiter 110 with many features and is now available in 6 colours and 4 variants. The new-generation 113.3cc hybrid engine makes 9.2Nm at 5000rpm without hybrid assist & 9.8Nm at 5000rpm with hybrid assist.
2. BSA Gold Star
Price: Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
The BSA Gold Star has been launched in India starting from Rs 2,99,990 and it is offered in 2 variants and 6 colours. The BSA Gold Star is powered by a one-of-a-kind 650cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. It makes 45.6PS at 6000rpm, and 55Nm at 4000rpm. It has a 5-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
3. Hero Glamour
Price: Rs 82,598 (ex-showroom Delhi)
Hero has launched the 2024 Glamour with new colours and features. It comes in 2 variants and 4 colour schemes. The Hero Glamour 125 now gets an LED headlight, as a part of its 2024 update. Its other features include i3S start-stop technology that shuts off the engine when the bike comes to a halt and restarts it when the clutch lever is pulled. The Glamour gets a digital instrument cluster with the usual readouts, a side-stand indicator, real-time mileage indicator, a USB charging port, and more.
4. Ola Roadster range
Ola Electric has launched its Roadster range in India. It is available in three variants: Roadster X, Roadster and the Roadster Pro. The price for Roadster X starts from Rs 74,999 and goes up to Rs 99,999. The Roadster is from Rs 1.05 lakh to Rs 1.40 lakh and the Roadster Pro is priced at Rs 2.0 till Rs 2.50 lakh. 5. Jawa 42
Price: Rs 1.72 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
The updated Jawa 42 comes in 3 variants and a total of 14 colour schemes, out of which 6 are new. Gets an updated 294cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, J-Panther engine making 27.32PS and 26.84Nm. The suspension setup has been tuned to be more comfortable, and the seat also gets better padding.
6. Srivaru Prana 2.0
Price: Rs 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
Srivaru Prana 2.0 electric bike was also launched in 2 variants and is available in 4 colours. Its variants are Prana Elite and Prana Grand. Its motor produces a peak performance of 10kW and 38Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 60kmph in 4 seconds (claimed).
7. Ducati Multistrada V4 RS
Price: Rs 38.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
The new Ducati Multistrada V4 RS gets a MotoGP-inspired 1103cc, liquid-cooled V4 Desmosedici engine. Makes 180PS and 118Nm, which is 10PS more and 7Nm less than the standard Multistrada V4. The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS features a special Iceberg White colour scheme, which is inspired by the Ducati MotoGP bike livery. 8. Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP
Price: Rs 19.05 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP is powered by a 937cc, liquid-cooled, L-twin cylinder engine producing 114PS at 9000rpm and 96Nm at 7250rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
