This would be the fourth motorcycle based on Royal Enfield’s J-platform
After being spied back in March 2022, the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has been spotted testing once again.
The spy shots have revealed the single-piece stepped seat unit that has always been part of the Bullet family. This test mule also sported a drum brake at the rear. Furthermore, the spy shots also hint at the fact that the Bullet is unlikely to receive the Tripper navigation as standard.
Much of the bodywork spotted on the test mule is the same as the Classic 350’s. The ergonomics should be nearly the same, if not identical as the foot pegs appear to be in exactly the same location and the handlebar seems very similar too. Even the switchgear seems to be the same.
The current Bullet 350 is the only model in Royal Enfield’s line-up that’s still powered by the older 346cc UCE engine, and an update has been on the cards for some time now. The 2023 iteration hence will be powered by the 349cc J-platform engine currently seen in the Meteor 350 and Classic 350. It should feature output figures that are similar, if not identical, to those of the two bikes- 20.5PS and 27Nm.

Like always, we expect the 2023 Bullet 350 to sit a good deal below the Classic in Royal Enfield’s line-up, but you can expect a small step-up from its current price range. It could be priced around the Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
