The design is similar to the one spotted earlier but this time we got a closer and clearer look at the new digital console, which seems to come with connectivity
The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure has been spied testing in India yet again. This time, we got a closer and clearer look at the ADV’s digital console and the vertically stacked area where it is mounted. The console on the bike is likely to be the same 5-inch TFT with smartphone connectivity and navigation as the KTM Duke 390.
The bike's design remains the same as the previous test mule. The ADV sports a beak-like front fender and a tall visor with a number plate mount. The visor has a cutout that serves as a small air vent. This is important for a country like India, where the weather is often hot.
The upcoming KTM ADV has a slim single-piece seat with wide and long grab rails which may also work as saddle bag mounts. Its tall handlebar and slightly rear-set footpegs provide a comfortable and upright riding position.
The tail section looks sleek. It gets a leg guard, saree guard and an underbelly exhaust instead of a long upswept one, which could restrict its off-road and water-wading capability. It has spoked wheels and may feature tubeless block-pattern tyres, at least as an option.
The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure will be equipped with the same 399cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the KTM 390 Duke, which produces 46PS and 39Nm. However, the engine is likely to be tuned differently to suit the ADV.
The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure is likely to be priced at around Rs 3.8 lakh (ex-showroom), with the launch expected by the end of 2024 or early 2025. It may be showcased along with the KTM 390 Adventure R (Enduro) at EICMA 2024 ahead of its launch.
