The month of September 2024 seems to be an exciting month for the Indian two-wheeler industry, with many promising launches coming our way. From updates on existing bikes and scooters to new bike launches and even a new Bajaj ethanol bike. Here are the details:
Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launch
Royal Enfield is all set to launch the updated Classic 350 in India on September 1, 2024. The bike was revealed earlier and it now comes with new colours, updated features, dual-channel ABS as standard and an optional navigation tripper pod.
All-new Jawa 42 Launch
Classic Legends is planning to launch the all-new Jawa 42 on September 3, 2024. The upcoming Jawa 42 is expected to be a completely new bike with an updated design and a bigger 334cc engine, here’s what we know so far.
All-new Hero Destini 125 Launch
The all-new Hero Destini 125 might also be launched in the first week of September. We received a first ride invite from the manufacturer for September 6-7. The design patent of the scooter reveals that it will get a complete makeover and will be launched with a refreshed design, an external fuel-filler cap and is expected to get a front disc brake for the first time ever. The Destini 125 may also get optional dual-tone colour schemes.
Bajaj Ethanol Bike Unveil
In a recent interview, Rajiv Bajaj confirmed that Bajaj Auto is working on an ethanol-powered bike. We expect the bike to be unveiled next month in September. The Indian government has also been encouraging the auto industry to focus on 80-100 percent ethanol-powered vehicles to provide more sustainable mobility options in the market.

We expect Royal Enfield to launch the Classic 650 in India next month. The trademark for the 650cc Classic was filed back in May 2024 with the name - Royal Enfield Classic 650 twin. The upcoming Classic 650 will get the same 648cc twin-cylinder air-/oil-cooled engine from the other 650cc bikes. However, the engine will be tuned to suit the relaxed nature of the Classic.
