Will COVID-19 play spoilsport this month as well?
April has proved to be one of the most testing times ever for our country. With COVID-19 cases at an all-time high, it’s very hard to stay mentally positive. There is a small glimmer of some good times ahead, though, as there are many interesting two-wheelers that are coming our way in May. Many of these launches were supposed to take place a lot earlier but thanks to the pandemic, these were postponed. Anyway, here’s the list:
2021 TVS Apache RR310
Even though TVS’ flagship bike, the Apache RR310, is already shod with modern tech and class-leading features, the manufacturer still has some updates left for it. Its launch was scheduled to take place on April 7 but that got postponed thanks to the massive surge in COVID cases. While there’s still no official ‘new’ launch date from TVS, we expect it to be launched in an online event this month. What all changes are expected, you ask? Check out our story to find out.
Aprilia SXR 125
Aprilia had commenced the bookings of the SXR 125 in the first week of April. Around ten days later, its price was revealed through our dealer sources. However, the official launch of the scooter is due and will probably take place this month. The SXR 125, Aprilia’s baby max-scooter for our market, packs almost the same features as its elder sibling, the SXR 160. In related news, the Italian manufacturer has taken the wraps off its smallest maxi-styled scooter ever.

Triumph Bonneville Bobber
At the moment, Triumph has the widest variety of 2021 models among all superbike brands in India. Looking to expand it even more, it is all set to launch another member of the Bonnie family, the Bonneville Bobber, here this month. While most of the Bonnie lineup is already here, the Bobber has always been a special bike, thanks to its raw and sultry looks. For 2021, the bikemaker has tweaked the Bobber’s engine, underpinnings, and feature list. Head here for full details about it.
Ducati Multistrada V4 and Streetfighter V4
Ducati is all set to bring its big guns to India. To start off, the bikemaker will launch the Multistrada V4 and the Streetfighter V4 sometime this month. The former will be India’s first radar-guided motorcycle while the latter will be the most powerful naked motorcycle here. Bookings for both bikes have already commenced at a few dealerships for a token amount of Rs 2 lakh.
