(Update: Bajaj has launched the 2023 Pulsar NS160 and NS200. Check out the details of the NS200 here. All the details about the NS160 are here.)

Bajaj has dropped three teasers of a mystery motorcycle on its social media handles. Even though none of these clips show the complete motorcycle, the “UPSIDE DOWN” tag on these clips hint that the new bike could be the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200

Recently, Bajaj introduced the Dominar 200 and the Dominar 160 in Brazil, which are essentially the NS200 and NS160, with one key change — upside down fork — and that’s probably what’s coming to the Indian models as well, but with a few other market-specific changes.

The teaser revealed that unlike the current generation NS200, the upcoming model will not feature a petal disc brake upfront. It is likely that Bajaj will replace it with the unit from the Dominar 250. More importantly, the NS200 will now get dual-channel ABS instead of the single-channel unit seen on the current model.

The Brazil-spec Bajaj NS200 comes with the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine making 24.3PS and 18.52Nm, which is 0.2PS and 0.18Nm more than the India-spec model. Apart from the 33mm USD fork, everything, including the paint schemes are exactly the same.

Considering that the teasers are already out, it is likely that the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 could debut as early as this month. With these updates, we expect a price bump of Rs 10,000, which will push the bike’s price to Rs 1.50 lakh. But despite the price hike, it will continue to remain more affordable than its Austrian sibling, the KTM 200 Duke which retails for Rs 1,91,693 (both ex-showroom Delhi).
