The long wait for the Piaggio Vespa LX125 seems to be ending soon. The company is planning to introduce the scooter very soon in the Indian two-wheeler market. According to reports, the Vespa LX125 scooter will be ready for sale most likely in the month of April in 2012. The Piaggio Vespa LX125 will be an automatic transmission vehicle. This is the very first occasion when a Vespa product will be introduced with the brand name of Piaggio. Piaggio was the parent company of Vespa before the two split. Earlier, scooters from the Vespa were launched in the Indian market through a joint collaboration with Bajaj India, but this is going to change with the launch of the Vespa LX125 scooter. The manufacturing of Vespa LX125 scooter is being carried out by Piaggio at the company's Baramati plant located in Maharashtra, India.
