Last week, the two-wheeler space in India was quite jam packed with various manufacturers, including Bajaj, Honda, Triumph and Ducati, launching new motorcycles. We also received details about the launch date of the upcoming XPulse 200 adventure tourer from Hero MotoCorp. Here are the top five news which created the most buzz in the last seven days.
Honda CBR650F’s replacement, the CBR650R, is here!
Honda has finally launched its mid-displacement sportbike, the CBR650R, in India at a very tempting price of Rs 7.7 lakh (ex-showroom India). The new CBR650R costs just Rs 32,000 more than the CBR650F it replaces. It seems to be a cracker of a deal considering the number of updates it has received. Ducati launches 2019 Scrambler range in India:
Iconic Italian bike manufacturer, Ducati, has launched its 2019 Scrambler range in India. Depending on the variant, the new Scrambler commands a premium of Rs 38,000 to Rs 56,000. Triumph debuts Thruxton’s street-friendly sibling, the Speed Twin:
At a price of Rs 9.46 lakh (ex-showroom), the Speed Twin is the most affordable 1200cc Bonneville in India. The Speed Twin is powered by the same engine as seen on the Thruxton: a 1200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin motor that produces 97PS and 112Nm of torque. However, Triumph has made some tweaks to make sure that the Speed Twin is more usable than the Thruxton on a daily basis. What are the changes? Click here to know.

After months of anticipation, Hero has finally given us a launch date for the XPulse 200. The bikemaker will launch both the XPulse 200 and the XPulse 200T on May 1.
