This week has been eventful and how! Internationally, motorcycles and scooters from the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, grabbed headlines, and a few developments followed suit in the local market. Here’s everything you need to know about this week’s bike news:
EICMA wrapup
Royal Enfield surprised us with the unveiling of the brawny-looking SG650 Concept bobber. Will it make it to production? Well, you can find out more about the concept here.
Benelli took the wraps off the TRK800, its biggest ADV yet, to take on the biggies from Triumph and Ducati. Honda had something exciting too. The Japanese bikemaker unveiled the new Honda ADV350, an adventure scooter slotting between the smaller ADV150 and the larger X-ADV 750. Aprilia also unveiled its own adventure scooter, that too with two engine options. Kawasaki finally updated its ageing Versys 650 with a list of cosmetic and feature additions. EICMA witnessed some electric action too, as VMoto launched its first premium electric bike, the VMoto Stash.
