Another weekend is coming to an end, the week unfolded many updates for the automotive world. This week we spotted testing of KTM RC390 at Mumbai-Pune highway and Suzuki Showcased Scrambler SV650 in the United Kingdom. We also witnessed the launch of Suzuki ATVs and Honda CB Hornet 160R, while Hero Motocorp updated all new Hunk on its website with pricing. Benelli confirmed the launch date for its lowest displacement motorcycle, TNT25 and Suzuki introduced the optional engine skid plate for Gixxer. We also came to know few of the motorcycles that might  arrive in Auto Expo 2016. That’s not enough, let's find the what had happened this week. 

KTM Started Testing of 2016 RC 390

Recently, the upgraded version of KTM RC390 has been spied testing on Mumbai-Pune highway. Unveiled at 2015 EICMA Motor Show in Milan, the new model looks similar to the present model but gets a host of updates. Read More:

Scrambler SV650 by Suzuki showcased in United Kingdom

Suzuki showcased a scrambler version of its SV650 at ‘Motorcycle Live’, held inUnited Kingdom from 28th November to 6th December. This new version was unveiled in Milan Motor Show earlier this year and now is being displayed in the United Kingdom to attract more customers towards SV650, which made its debut in 1999. The new scrambler gets an overall upgrade in terms of additional accessories, design frame and engine. It is also equipped with aluminium front mud guards, chain guard and a radiator guard. Suzuki Launches ATVs in India, Starting From Rs. 5.45 lacs

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has launched two ATV models in the Indian market- Ozark 250 and Quadsport Z400. The price of the prior one is Rs. 5,45,000 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and the latter one costs Rs. 8,50,000 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). In the first phase, Suzuki will sell their ATVs through authorised dealers in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Jodhpur and Hyderabad. Read More:

Suzuki Introduces Optional Engine Skid Plate For Gixxer

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has introduced optional engine skid plate for its popular motorcycle Gixxer for an additional cost of Rs. 1600. The accessory adds some more ruggedness to its appearance as well as the safety for the engine crankcase.  Read More:

Volkswagen to Sell Ducati to Repay its Loans?

One of the largest vehicle manufacturers - Volkswagen that recently suffered a major dent in its reputation because of the Emission Scandal is now seeing, even more, worse days. Last week, Volkswagen took a whopping 20 billion Euro ($21.1 billion) one-year loan from 13 banks and is currently under huge pressure to strengthen its finances. Upcoming TVS Apache RTR 200 Spotted Testing in Indonesia, More Details Emerge

The much-anticipated product from TVS - Apache RTR 200 has been spotted again doing final test runs, this time on the roads of Indonesia. In the recent spy shots, some more details of the bike have appeared like a completely revised muffler and a new tail lamp unit. The bike is expected to be launched at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo that is scheduled from 5th to 9th Feb, 2016 in Greater Noida. As per long-running speculations, the 200cc Apache will come inspired by the Draken Concept that was showcased at the Auto Expo last year. As per the sources, an updated version of the Apache RTR 180 will also make it to the 2016 event. Read More:

Hero Hunk Facelift Arrives at Rs. 69,725 Onwards

Hero Motocorp updated their website and added the all new Hunk to its list right before the official launch of its facelift version. The 2016 model of Hunk gets upgrades in the body graphics and the engine will now produce more power.The bike will be offered with the same overall styling, but some changes can be spotted in the lower part, as it is matched with a black paint scheme. The bike gets new headlights, revised instrument cluster with a stand indicator and crash guard. Projected fuel tank scoops with air vents can be spotted in the new facelifted version of Hero Hunk. With all these updates, the parts which remain the same as the old version are: tail lights, indicators and rear view mirrors. Read More: 

Honda CB Hornet 160R Launched at Rs. 79,900 Onwards

Honda has finally launched the Awaited CB Hornet 160R in India at a starting price of Rs. 79,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Along with the standard variant, the bike is also available in a dual disc with CBS and it comes in 5 attractive colours- Neo Orange Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Sports Red, Pearl Siren Blue and Pearl Nightstar Black. The bike will be initially available for sale in 21 cities namely New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Alibag, Bangalore, Bashirhat (Kolkata), Boisar, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Goa, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Panvel, Pune, Surat, Thane, Vijaywada and Vizag, followed by availability in the other locations with the beginning of New Year.  Read More: 

DSK Benelli TNT 25 to be launched on December 18

Benelli TNT 25 is all geared up to make its Indian debut on December 18, 2015. Premiered at 2015 EICMA Milan, the bike will be placed below TNT 300 and will be the company’s most affordable offering. It will be imported to the country via CKD route and will be assembled at the Pune facility of DSK Motorwheels. With the launch of TNT 25, Benelli is planning to compete against KTM Duke 200. UM Motorcycles Will Launch Renegade Commando at 2016 Auto Expo

UM Motorcycles has confirmed that it will be launching two variants of Renegade Commando next year in February at the 2016 Auto Expo. Renegade Commando will be the first offering by the US-based manufacturer in India. It is expected to get a 300 cc, counterbalanced, single cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 24 bhp. Other than this, the bike will feature matte paint finish, USB charging port and mirrors with blind spots. The motorcycle is expected to be priced competitively (around Rs. 1.6 lac ex-showroom) and will compete against one of the most popular brands - Royal Enfield. Read More: 

Hero Super Splendor iSmart Coming at the 2016 Auto Expo?

After the success of i3S technology in Splendor iSmart, Hero MotoCorp is going to use the same feature in the 2016 Super Splendor. A spy shot of the upcoming motorcycle has emerged, which shows a new instrument console having ‘Super Splendor’ written in the speedometer along with an i3S telltale lamp. According to some reports, the bike will arrive at the 2016 Auto Expo in February and it could be christened as Hero Super Splendor iSmart. Read More:
