Yamaha Alpha gets Two New Dual Tone Color Options

Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd has updated its popular family scooter- Alpha with two new dual tone paint schemes. The scooter is now available in 8 different shades including the new Rocking Red and Beaming Blue options. The scooter was last updated in March 2015 with the new Blue Core technology and a fresh Gleaming Gold dual tone color. So, there are total 3 dual tone paint schemes on offering with Yamaha Alpha, which cost around Rs. 1,000 extra over the single tone colors.

The well engineered Yamaha Alpha is powered by an 113cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which makes 7bhp of maximum power at 7,500rpm. It uses a BS24 carburettor with Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS) and the new Blue Core technology that enables it to deliver outstanding running performance, excellent fuel efficiency and good emission quality. The motor is capable of delivering a torque up to 8.1Nm at just 5,000rpm.

Key features of the Yamaha Alpha are the telescopic front suspension, long and comfortable seat and a large (21-litre) under-seat storage. It also has other standard features of a common automatic scooter like CVT transmission and electric start.
