MT-03
After the recent launch of YZF-R3 in India, Yamaha is ready to bring its stripped version MT-03 in the country. The company has opted for the 2016 Auto Expo to be the platform for the showcase of this attractive street fighter. The difference between the R3 and the MT-03 can be easily spotted as Yamaha has removed the front fairing, twin headlight setup and the single piece handlebar. Both the machines share the same engine specifications such as a 321cc, 4-stroke liquid-cooled DOHC parallel twin engine that churns out a maximum power of 41.03bhp and a peak torque of 30Nm mated to a 6-speed transmission. The MT-03 is a pure class in terms of looks and has a prominent visual appeal to gather the fans at the Yamaha stand on the venue.
2. MT-10
The next in the offering by Yamaha is the MT-10, the naked version of the YZF-R1. After taking the covers off this machine at EICMA, Milan, the company will be showcasing this bike in the upcoming event to be held in Delhi. The MT-03 will come equipped with a 998cc engine, which is similar to the R1. Though, confirmation regarding the power output of this model has not been given by the company, but the maximum power of this bike is expected to be somewhere between 165-150bhp. Another surprise from the company could be the M-Slaz. Presently, this bike is being sold in the Thailand market and is expected to announce its arrival in Indian two-wheeler industry at the Auto Expo. Yamaha is expected to change its name to MT for the Indian market, which will make this machine part of the lineup of MT series. Also, this bike is inspired from the company’s YZF-R15 in terms of hardware and the engine specs. With few updates from the R15, the M-Slaz would have USD front forks, thicker rubber and thorny styling and it will produce a maximum power of 16.76bhp and a peak torque of 15Nm. For the Indian market, the M-Slaz aka MT would come equipped with a higher displacement of 200cc, which is more than the current Thai variant of 150cc.

This muscular beast by Yamaha is a faired version of the MT-10. To make the portfolio stronger, the company is geared up to bring this bike at the upcoming Auto Expo. Though speculations are that the engine specifications of this new bike are almost similar to the MT-10, but the confirmation in this regards along with the other details will be revealed by the company only at the launch event. Yamaha updated this bike on its US website few months back, which states that it will miss out the quick-shifter but would have traction control unit with Inertia Measurement Unit (IMU).
