After the huge success of its 110cc scooter-Ray in the market, the Japanese auto giant Yamaha is all set to launch its sibling in India. Yamaha is bringing in a Honda Activa competitor, which has been christened Cygnus Alpha.
Recently, the scooter has been spied in India, which might sharing the platform of its sibling Ray. Appearance is looking quite similar to its rival Activa, however it gets some extra features like telescopic front forks. It is also expected to carry the same 113cc, 4-stroke, air cooled, SOHC engine. Mated with a V-belt automatic transmission, the engine delivers a maximum power of 7bhp and a peak torque of 8.1Nm.
However, to compete with Honda Activa, the new scooter should priced aggressively and must carry some extra features. So, we all are looking forward for its launch at the Auto Expo.
