The new and updated Classic 350 goes up against the 2024 Jawa 42, which was recently launched. Here’s how both bikes compare. Royal Enfield Classic 350 price in India
The cheapest Royal Enfield Classic 350 variant price is Rs 1,93,080 for the Redditch Red/Grey variant with single-channel ABS. The Classic 350 top variant is the Chrome Red/ Chrome Bronze, whose price is Rs 2,24,755 (both prices ex-showroom Chennai).
How many variants are in Classic 350?
The Classic 350 variants can be broadly divided into two: Single-channel ABS and Dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). While the former comes with a front disc and a rear drum, the latter gets disc brakes at both ends. The single-channel ABS variant gets ABS only for the front wheel as opposed to both wheels in the dual-channel ABS model. Both versions have multiple sub-variants with different colours, either with spoke wheels with tubed tyres or alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
What is the top variant of Classic 350?
The Classic 350 top variant is the Chrome range, available either in Chrome Red or Chrome Bronze. Both colours are priced at Rs 2,24,755. That said, our recommendation to the best Classic 350 variant is the Halcyon model with dual-channel ABS. It’s available in Halcyon Black or Halcyon Green, priced at Rs 2,02,094 (both ex-showroom Chennai). These colours look properly retro, their spoke wheels go well with the ‘Classic’ design and also have the added safety of a dual-channel ABS.
What are the colours for the Classic 350?
For 2024, Royal Enfield has introduced 7 new colour options to choose from including Emerald, Jodhpur Blue & Madras Red, Medallion Brown, Commandos Sand and Stealth.

Apart from the difference in alloy wheels, ABS, brakes and colours, the rest of the features and mechanical bits are common across all variants.
Is Royal Enfield Classic 350 pickup good? (Key specs and tested figures)
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 offers decent pickup for its segment, with 0-60kmph taking 6.32 seconds. The torquey nature of the engine along with well-spaced gearing makes it easy to ride at low speeds in higher gears. The Classic 350 0-100kmph pickup time is 22.95 seconds, which isn’t exactly quick. However, what makes Classic 350 special is its relaxed nature of the engine, making it ideal for laid-back riding in the city or on the highway.
What is the mileage of Classic 350?
The Classic 350’s real-world tested mileage is 41.93kmpl in the city and 38.46kmpl on the highway. These mileage figures are pretty good for a 350cc bike. The engine produces enough torque at low revs, resulting in effortless city riding. This is one of the reasons why Classic 350 city mileage is better than highway mileage.
Is Royal Enfield Classic 350 heavy?
At 195kg kerb, the Classic 350 is a heavy bike. You can particularly feel the weight of the Classic 350 when you’re moving it out of a parking lot or when you’re trying to physically manoeuvre the bike over uneven surfaces. It also takes some time to get used to parking the bike using a centre stand. That said, once you start riding, the weight feels easily manageable as the chassis is so nicely balanced. You won’t really feel like you’re riding a heavy bike as long as you keep moving.
Is Classic 350 good for city ride?
The weight of the bike along with the heavy clutch may not be ideal for riding on roads with lots of traffic. But the riding posture is very comfortable, and the engine doesn’t really heat up all that much. With just a little getting used to, you can use Classic 350 for daily rides without much trouble.
Is Classic 350 suitable for long rides?
The Classic 350 is great for long rides as long as you’re willing to cruise on the highways at around 90kmph. That’s the speed at which the Classic feels the most stress-free and refined. The seat is spacious, and the riding position is pretty relaxed, helping you do long rides with ease. Another important aspect to note is that the engine can also do occasional bursts of 110+kmph when pushed.
What are the best Classic 350 features?
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets a load of upgrades for 2024 like an LED headlight, taillight & tiger eyes, and a USB charger offered as standard. While the Tripper Pod for smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation comes as standard fitting only in the Stealth and Emerald colours. Although it continues to feature an analogue speedometer with a digital screen that shows the fuel level, odometer and trip meter readings, service reminder and clock. For added safety, it either comes with a single-channel ABS (that prevents front wheel lock in hard braking scenarios) or dual-channel ABS (that prevents both front and rear from locking up while braking hard. Additionally, you can also buy the Tripper Navigation pod (sold as an accessory) using which you can connect to your smartphone and use turn-by-turn navigation via the official Royal Enfield app.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 best accessories with price:
The best Classic 350 accessories for city rides would be a basic crash guard and a pillion backrest (if you’re riding with one often). The cheapest official crash guard for Classic 350 is Black Trapezium or Octagon crash guard, priced at Rs 2,950. Both are made out of steel tube with dual powder coating for rust resistance. The pillion backrest is priced at Rs 1,050. This significantly improves the comfort of the pillion rider by supporting the lower back. It also gives the pillion a sense of safety as it prevents them from sliding back while accelerating hard.
Is Classic 350 worth buying?
If you’re looking for a retro bike that looks properly old-school but feels every bit modern while riding, the Classic 350 is one of the best 350cc bikes in India. Its chilled-out nature inspires you to enjoy the journey rather than the destination.
What is the best alternative to the Classic 350?
The best alternative to the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the Jawa 350. It also looks equally retro-gorgeous and comes with a variety of colour schemes, some even with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. While it looks super retro, it offers better performance than the Classic 350 but isn’t as comfortable as the Classic. If you don’t mind it and are looking for a retro bike that is fairly quick, the Jawa 350 is a great bike to buy.
