2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R (ZZR1400) to be launched in India Next Year

Kawasaki has introduced the 2016 model of its popular Ninja ZX-14R or ZZR1400, which gets some mechanical and feature updates. The new performance motorcycle complying with the latest Euro 4 regulation in the Indian market will be launched sometime in 2016. Standard and ZZR1400 Performance Sport are the two variants of this motorcycle, which will be available in the European market.

The new ZZR1400 Performance Sport gets new settings for the ECU unit and revised exhaust system, the model meets the Euro 4 emission norms without disturbing its legendary power output. Along with the bike is a new instrument cluster featuring high visibility dials and a Dot-Matrix LCD display.

Coming to the mechanics, the bike is equipped with the same 1,441cc, liquid-cooled, inline machine that churns out peak power of 200PS.
The other features include new Brembo M50 monoblock front brake callipers complemented by new Brembo radial-pump master cylinder along with Bosch equipped advanced ABS system, which provides controllable high-performance braking. With such an impressive chassis, engine and braking package, the new model also receives high-quality suspension system i.e. a Öhlins TTX39 rear shock absorber ensuring comfort and an Akrapovic silencer that makes it a good sounding beast.
