After launching the trail-friendly version of the W175 in November last year, Kawasaki has now introduced the standard W175 Cafe in three new colours: black, orange and silver. Priced at IDR 30,300,000 (Rs 1.41 lakh) on-road Jakarta, the W175 Cafe is IDR 4,00,000 (Rs 1,865) more expensive than the W175 and W175TR models.

In terms of cosmetic differences, the W175 Cafe features a lower-set handlebar, similar to the standard model. It also gets a flyscreen, which sits above its dome-shaped headlamp, and a dual-tone colour seat. What also sets the W175 Cafe apart is its trendy colour palette, gold rear suspension, and a chrome heat shield on the exhaust end-can. The Japanese brand also offers the W175TR, which is a trail-friendly version of the standard W175 roadster. You can read more about it here.
The W175 Cafe is powered by the same 177cc single-cylinder air-cooled carburetted engine that puts out 13PS at 7500rpm and 13.2Nm at 6000rpm. The motor works in conjunction with a 5-speed gearbox.

Coming to hardware, the cafe racer sports a telescopic fork and a twin shock absorber setup at the rear. The bike is anchored by a disc up front and a drum at the rear. There is no ABS, even as an option. The fuel tank capacity is 13.5 litres, while the overall kerb weight sits at 126kg -- 5kg heavier than the W175TR model.
Kawasaki is unlikely to ever launch these motorcycles in India as it only deals in premium motorcycles here.
