The new bike costs Rs 4,493 more than the older model
Bajaj has launched the 2021 Dominar 400 with a factory-fitted touring kit at Rs 2,16,648 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The standard list of goodies you get with the 2021 model includes a smoked visor, handguards, engine bash plate, engine guard, pillion backrest, rear luggage rack, navigation mount and a USB charging port. There’s also an optional saddle stay which you can buy separately from the dealership.
While the outgoing model was priced at Rs 2,12,155 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new Dominar 400 bears a premium of Rs 4,493.

Apart from the new kit, Bajaj has made no mechanical changes to the Dominar 400. It retains the KTM 390 Duke-derived 373.3cc liquid-cooled motor, with the output rated at 40PS and 35Nm. The suspension setup too remains unchanged and so does the braking hardware.
With the addition of the new parts, the weight should have slightly gone up the scale. However, the company hasn’t revealed the figures yet. The 2021 Dominar 400 is available in two colours: Aurora Green and Charcoal Black.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 has already been a preferred touring motorcycle by a lot of riders, and the inclusion of the factory-fitted kit should only add to its capabilities. The Dominar 400’s rivals include the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350RS and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
