- Expect Royal Enfield to offer the upcoming motorcycle in different variants with various colour schemes at different price points.
The 2021 Classic 350, Royal Enfield’s second motorcycle from its J-platform after the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, is all set to be launched tomorrow. Expect Royal Enfield to price it below the Meteor, possibly on par with the current-gen Classic 350. Wondering why? Check out our analysis here.
The motorcycle is likely to be offered in single-channel and dual-channel ABS variants, with the former sporting a drum brake at the rear and the latter a disc unit. Like the current-gen model, the two variants of the 2021 iteration could be sold in several colour schemes with the choice of alloy and spoke wheels at different price points. In fact, the variants were spotted testing recently.

The 2021 Classic 350 will be powered by the same 349cc counterbalanced air-cooled, fuel-injected engine as the Meteor 350. It could carry the same tune with 20.4PS and 27Nm on tap, linked to a 5-speed transmission. The chassis is suspended on a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers (as opposed to the twin gas-charged units in its predecessor).
While the overall silhouette is still distinctly identifiable, there have been a few tweaks to its bodywork. The sprung rider’s seat has been replaced with a conventional unit. The bare-bones analogue instrument cluster has been replaced with a semi-digital unit, and the smartphone-compatible Tripper navigation pod from the Meteor is being offered as an option.
Overall, the new updates will make the 2021 Classic 350 a much more capable motorcycle than before, perfect for laid-back touring as well as everyday commutes. It will go up against the updated Jawa, Honda H’ness CB350, and the Benelli imperiale 400.
