This time around, it is the lower-spec variant with a drum brake at the rear
New spy shots of the upcoming 2022 Bajaj Pulsar N150 have surfaced on the internet, and the bike looks closer to production. The test mule spotted this time is the lower-spec rear-drum variant. We had previously spotted the disc brake variant of the 2022 Pulsar N150 being tested in Pune.
The new spy shot reveals that the upcoming Pulsar N150 could be available in two variants – one with a disc and another with a drum brake at the rear. While the former gets a single-channel ABS unit, the latter could get a dual-channel ABS as an option. Going by the spy shots, the new Pulsar N150 shares its bits with the new Pulsar N160, but also has some unique elements like the new projector headlight, which is a modern rendition of the current-gen model.

Bits like the rear section and the tank extension are similar to the Pulsar N160 and the Pulsar N250. That said, the power plant on the new Pulsar N150 would be an air-cooled, 150cc single-cylinder unit derived from Pulsar’s 250cc engine. We expect the new model to make the same 14PS and 13.25Nm, considering that these are already segment-leading numbers. That said, we might see improvements in the refinement levels.
Going by how production-ready the new Pulsar N150 looks, we could see a debut as early as September. We expect the new Bajaj Pulsar N150 to be priced at Rs 1.1 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Even with the new price, the bike will be more affordable than the likes of the Yamaha FZ-FI Version 3.0.
