The national capital will have the country’s third Ather Experience Center as well
Earlier this month, we reported that Ather Energy has commenced test rides and booking enquiries in Delhi and will soon set up a dealership. Now, the Bengaluru-based startup has officially announced its entry in the national capital as well as in Jaipur. In Delhi, it is priced at Rs 1,46,926 for the 450X while the 450 Plus will set you back by Rs 1,27,916. In Jaipur, however, the prices stand at Rs 1.59 lakh (450X) and Rs 1.40 lakh (450 Plus). Deliveries have already commenced in Delhi, with the first e-scooter in the city being delivered to Pawan Munjal, chairman and CEO of Hero MotoCorp.
The brand will open the doors to its third Ather Experience Center in May in Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar. Apart from the experience center, Ather Energy is also in the process of setting up 10 fast-charging stations across the key hotspots in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad. With this, and the new fast-charging spots in Mumbai, the Ather Grid currently has 128 charging points in 18 cities.

The Ather 450X is powered by a 6kW PMSM motor and a 2.9kWh lithium-ion battery. In addition to the Eco, Ride and Sport modes, the e-scooter also has a Warp mode that propels the bike from 0 to 40kmph in just 3.3 seconds. Read our road test review to know why we think the 450X is the benchmark of electric two-wheelers.
Ather Energy has been aggressively expanding to different cities every month. This year, the brand has started operations in Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Pune. Meanwhile, its competitions, the TVS iQube Electric and the Bajaj Chetak are available in just two cities, with the latter now reopening its booking after a brief hiatus for Pune and Bengaluru.
