Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Gets Rs. 2,000 Costlier

Bajaj Auto’s flagship model, the RS 200 recently seen a price hike of its ex-showroom prices across the country. The company added an amount of Rs. 2,000 to its price tag, which is applicable on all colours and variants. Bajaj Auto have revealed that it has sold over 15,000 units of the RS 200 till August 2015, which seems quite impressive considering the segment in which the bike falls. Bajaj recently introduced Demon black edition of bike that comes in a mean black livery with striking red stickers over the body.

Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 draws its power from a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel injected engine that comes mated to a six-speed transmission setup. The motor churns out a net power of 24.2bhp at 9,750rpm along with a maximum torque of 18.6Nm at 8,000rpm. To avail a stress-free and comfortable ride, the bike has been equipped with telescopic forks up front and nitrox shock absorber at the rear. For responsive braking, the RS 200 comes with a 300mm disc brake at the front and 230mm disc brake at the rear, coupled with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) as an optional unit. Other impressive features of the bike include daytime running lights with twin projector headlights, refreshed instrument console and a supersport-inspired body design. 

After the price hike, the RS is now available at Rs. 1.20 lac for the standard version and Rs. 1.32 lac for the ABS version (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
