The updated model is all set to be launched on 14th June
Hero MotoCorp has once again teased the 2023 Xtreme 160R, revealing a few more new details. This comes after the bikemaker teased the wheels of the upcoming bike and announced the 14th June launch date. The major highlight from the teaser is that the engine will now get 4-valve technology, so power and torque figures are likely to increase slightly from the 15.2PS and 14Nm made by the current 163cc air-cooled heart.
Thanks to the four-valve tech, expect the engine to be more refined too. Of course, it will also have to be BS6.2 and E20 fuel compliant. The engine cowl, while visually similar, now bears the 4V stickering.
Another major change that’s incoming is the USD fork, as seen on a test mule as well as on this teaser, which should ensure a better riding experience. The design of the bike is also expected to be slightly more aggressive and sportier than the one currently on sale, possibly with new colour options as well. Features-wise, it is expected to come with a revised LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, like the Xpulse 200 4V.

Once launched, the 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R will rival the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Pulsar N160, Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ-S, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
