It’s priced the same as the Black Mirror variant
The Jawa 42 Bobber top variant has been launched with a new paint scheme called Red Sheen. It’s priced at Rs 2,29,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is the same as the Black Mirror variant.
The new paint scheme gives it a dual-tone fuel tank with the top half finished in chrome, while the bottom half is in metallic red. The rest of the motorcycle remains blacked-out, just like in other variants. It still gets the black stripe on the top of the tank. The new colour variant debuted at the All You Can Street Festival (a fashion, music, and art-themed event) in Mumbai. Here’s a price breakdown of all the variants:

The Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen remains the same mechanically, with a 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 29.9PS and 30Nm. The Bobber gets a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The rest of the components remain the same too. If you are interested in knowing how it rides, here’s our review of the Black Mirror Edition.
Like the rest of the Jawa motorcycles, this too retains the retro charm. The Jawa 42 Bobber’s only alternative in the small-capacity bobber segment is the Jawa Perak, which is priced at Rs 2,13,187 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Check out here how they both compare. The Jawa 42 Bobber also competes with the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber (which might be called the Shotgun 350, perhaps?), the clear patent design images of which surfaced online recently.
