Want to know what the new BS6-compliant Royal Enfield Classic 350 looks like? Well, here you go
The Classic 350 is set to become the first BS6-compliant motorcycle from Royal Enfield. Usually, when a bike manufacturer updates its two-wheelers to meet new emission norms, it tweaks the design or throws in some new features to justify the price increment. But not Royal Enfield. Apart from the tweaked motor and exhaust (which are a must to meet the new emission norms), the manufacturer hasn’t changed anything. Don’t believe us? Well, scroll down and take a look.
This is it. The first BS6-compliant Royal Enfield. Can you spot any changes?
Now that we have zoomed the image, you can clearly see the cat-con, O2 sensor and the fuel injection system.
Apart from that, the only other change the BS6-compliant Classic 350 has received are the alloy wheels that will now come as standard.
The telescopic fork at the front is the same as the older model.
And so are the twin shocks at the rear.
The split seat setup has been carried forward from the BS4 version.
Royal Enfield could’ve at least tweaked the seat a bit. Or it could have wrapped the seats in new fabric.
We believe Royal Enfield could bring a new paint scheme just to freshen things up.
Expect Royal Enfield to launch the entire range of BS6-compliant Classic 350 variants in a few days.
The BS6 Classic 350 could get a price hike of Rs 12,000 to Rs 14,000 compared to its predecessor, which retails at Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
