BSA Gold Star Same Price Other Options

The BSA Gold Star was recently launched in India and it comes at a starting price of Rs 2,99,990 and going all the way up to Rs 3,34,990. But if you are not interested in buying the Gold Star and are looking for other options in the market then this list is for you. We have got all kinds of motorcycles and scooters from ADVs and supersports to Maxi-style scooters.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 (Price: Rs 3,03,000 )

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is the closest rival to the Gold Star. It is also a retro-style British roadster with a rich history and legacy.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Engine

The Interceptor is powered by a 648cc air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine which produces 47PS and 52Nm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. When compared to the Gold Star, the Interceptor 650, thanks to its parallel twin engine, should offer a different riding experience, and should be smoother overall.

With prices starting at Rs 3,03,000 (ex-showroom) the Interceptor makes for a very attractive alternative if you are someone who is looking for a retro British style roadster.

KTM RC 390 (Price: Rs 3,20,393)

Sure, Roadsters are fun, but sometimes just “fun” is not enough, you need thrill and excitement, and supersports like the KTM RC 390 perfectly fits the bill.

KTM RC 390

The bike is powered by a 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which produces 43.5PS and 37Nm. The engine is the same as the one used on the 2nd Gen KTM 390 Duke, and is known for being a high revving engine that offers quite a thrilling riding experience. The bike also comes with features such as traction control, ride-by-wire system and lean-sensitive cornering ABS with Supermoto mode (allows rear wheel ABS to be turned off) along with a quickshifter as well.

The RC 390 comes at an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs 3,20,393 and is definitely worth considering if you are looking for a track weapon which can also double up as a weekend ride to hit the corners.

Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Standard (Price: Rs 2,99,000)

If you are someone who is looking for a similar supersport experience, with the sporty riding posture and same kind of fun but in an electric package, then the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 will be worth considering.

The F77 Mach 2 is the new and updated version of the Ultraviolette F77 and is powered by a motor which produces 27kW or 36.5PS and 90Nm. The motor gives the F77 Mach 2 a claimed top speed of 150kmph and a claimed acceleration of 0-100 in 7.8 seconds.

One thing that we all associate with electric vehicles is range anxiety, but the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 gets a 7.1kWh battery pack which offers the e-bike a claimed range of 211km.

With its ex-showroom price of Rs 2,99,000 the F77 Mach 2 is a good deal if you are looking for an electric performance bike.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Hanle Black (Price: Rs 2,98,000)

Supersports, roadsters and EVs are fun on the road, but what if you don’t want the fun to stop when the roads do? You would look for an adventure bike of course. At this price point, the top of the line Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Hanle Black is the best you can do.

In addition to that, the bike’s ground clearance stands at 230mm, making it the perfect machine to tackle both light trails and hardcore off road terrain.

In terms of features, it gets a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and related features such as full-fledged navigation via GoogleMaps and music controls among others.

The top of the line Himalayan costs Rs 2,98,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) and with everything it offers, it is definitely a choice worth considering.

Keeway Vieste 300 (Price: 3,25,000)

If bikes aren’t really your thing, then you would probably like a maxi-style scooter that can offer both good performance and a comfortable riding experience. The Keeway Vieste 300 is one option you can consider in this case.

Keeway VIESTE 300

It comes with a stylish design and looks like a proper maxi-scooter, similar to the higher capacity ones that you can find in the streets of Europe. The Vieste is powered by a 278.2 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 18.7PS and 22Nm. In terms of features, it gets a digital instrument console and keyless ignition.

At the price of Rs 3,25,000 ex-showroom, the Vieste isn’t a purchase most people can justify given the performance and what it offers as a whole. But if you are someone who is truly looking for a maxi-style scooter and don’t mind the high price tag, then the Keeway Vieste 300 is worth considering.
