COVID-19 Pandemic: Jawa Motorcycles Resumes Dealerships Operations Across India

Sources suggest approximately 20-25 dealerships are currently operational

Jawa Motorcycles has announced that it has started operations across several dealerships across India while adhering to strict safety and hygiene protocols. Sources suggest approximately 20-25 dealerships are operational across the country based on zones.

The company will ensure safety and hygiene for its staff and customers. This includes training its staff to social distancing, hygiene and sanitisation protocols. Thermal scanning will be conducted at the doorstep of each dealership with hourly sanitisation. Jawa will also offer digital documentation and doorstep deliveries for all new purchases during these tough times.

The rest of the dealerships along with Jawa’s manufacturing plant is expected to follow suit once the lockdown is eased off. Jawa is the fifth two-wheeler manufacturer to resume operations across the country. The move should go a long way in helping them out financially as well as their dealer partners.
