Honda has unveiled the CMX1100 Rebel with a brand new paintscheme along with a new touring friendly variant – CMX1100T Rebel. Here are the highlights:
The standard version now comes painted in a new stealthy and classy Iridium Grey Metallic colour, complimenting the aggressive nature of the bike.
The new CMX1100T variant sports a half fairing for better aerodynamics, and should also reduce rider fatigue making it comfortable for long rides.
The tourer variant also gets hard case panniers on either side – 16 litres on the right and 19 litres on the left. This should make the cruiser a lot more practical on long highway rides.

The Tourer variant is 15kg more than the standard, tipping the scales at 238kg with the manual transmission and 248kg on DCT. Even at these numbers, the bikes are fairly light for its segment.
The bike also gets a bunch of accessories available individually and in packages – Sport Pack and Tour Pack.
The powertrain remains unchanged (borrowed from Honda CRL1100L Africa Twin) – a 1084cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine making 87PS and 98Nm. The underpinnings, including the suspension, wheels and brakes are also unchanged.
The prices for both variants are yet to be released, however, sadly, the bike is unlikely to be launched here. In related news, the Honda CB500F was spotted at an Indian Dealership, could it be coming to India?
