#EICMA2015: 2016 Honda CB500F Unveiled

Honda, the Japanese manufacturer has revealed the updated version of its aggressive streetfighter - CB500F at the 2015 EICMA. The company claims that the motorcycle has been crafted on the same platform which has been used in recently unveiled CB500R.
The 2016 CB500F will receive several cosmetic upgrades and get an aggressive and sharper look. LED headlamp with lesser fairing panels at the front flaunts more predatory appearance. Along with it, the naked street fighter receives a newly designed exhaust. The seating style has also been revised with split sporty seats.

The bike will be available in six different paint schemes such as Ross White and Millennium Red, Lemon Ice Yellow/Graphite Black, Millennium Red/Macadam Grey Metallic, Candy Energy Orange/Macadam Grey Metallic, Pearl Metalloid White/Macadam Grey Metallic, and Matte Gunpowder Black/Matte Krypton Silver Metallic.

On the account of power, the bike is equipped with the same 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine which is expected to produce 46.85bhp. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The braking duty will be performed by a 320mm disc brake up front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear, with ABS as a standard unit.
The manufacturer has still not made any announcements about the pricing. Also, the 2016 Honda CB500F is expected to be available in international markets for sale by early next year.
