- The BS6-compliant Classic 350 is powered by a fuel-injected 346cc motor.
- The updated motorcycle is likely to have different power output.
- Royal Enfield has kept the features list the same as before.
Social media is abuzz with spy shots of the new BS6-compliant Royal Enfield Classic 350. But the main question everyone is asking is how much will it cost? Well, according to our sources, the BS6 Classic 350 is likely to be priced at Rs 1,66,906 (ex-showroom), which is Rs 14,251 more than the current BS4 model (Gunmetal Grey paint option).
If you are expecting to get more features for the new BS6 variant for that price, you’d be wrong. The only differences between the BS4 and the BS6 variants are some new paint schemes and the fact that alloy wheels now come as standard. The new matte black and chrome paint options are likely to be the most expensive in RE’s catalogue. As our sources report that both are priced at Rs 1,79,605.
Apart from this, the bike looks similar to its predecessor. We have compiled some images for you, so that you can take a closer look at the updated Classic 350.
As of now, there’s no word on the engine specs, but we expect a slight difference between the two variants. The current 3460cc motor churns out 20PS and 28Nm, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Except for the fuel injected motor and the updated exhaust system, there aren’t any major mechanical changes.
If you want, you can book a BS6 Classic 350 for yourself right now as unofficial bookings have already begun across the country for a token amount of Rs 10,000. We will update this story once the bike maker officially launches the new variant.
