The third variant of the ADV comes with lowered seat and suspension borrowed from the 390 Duke
Hot on the heels of the 390 Adventure X’s debut, KTM has sneakily introduced the third variant of its ADV — the 390 Adventure V. This new variant comes with a lowered seat and a different suspension setup.
The KTM 390 Adventure V comes with a seat height of 830mm, which is 25mm lower than that of the standard variant. The suspension has been changed, and though it is not shared with the standard 390 Adventure, it is not shared with the 390 Duke either. But KTM is yet to share details of the unit seen on the Adventure V.
Apart from this, there are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle. It doesn’t skimp out on electronics or performance. In fact, it is visually also the same as the Standard bike. That said, there is no official word whether the aforementioned changes have affected the ground clearance of the bike.
Our sources have revealed that the 390 Adventure V is priced exactly the same as the standard 390 Adventure at Rs 3,38,746 (ex-showroom Delhi). Unfortunately, if you are inclined towards the 390 Adventure X and are tempted by this lowered seat option, KTM has no plans of introducing that.
