EXCLUSIVE: THIS Is The Most Affordable Vespa In India

The Vespa Notte 125 BS6 has been launched, is now over Rs 17,000 more expensive!

If you’re looking for a stylish everyday scooter you really can’t do much better than the chic Vespa range. The only downside is that they can be expensive, ridiculously expensive in some cases. Now, though, the most affordable Vespa has been launched in BS6 form. The Vespa Notte 125 BS6, at Rs 91,864, is priced on par with the Vespa Club BS6, making them the two least expensive offerings in the Italian manufacturer’s lineup.

Mind you, it’s still a hell of a lot more expensive than before. The last known price for the Notte 125 BS4 was a paltry Rs 74,831, meaning that the updated version is over Rs 17,000 more expensive! And despite the massive price hike, you get nothing aside from a cleaner burning engine. No new features, no change in appearance, nothing. It’s a little hard to fathom why the addition of fuel injection costs Vespa this much money while most other manufacturers are able to pull it off for around half that amount.

Though not priced anywhere close to them, by virtue of its displacement figure the Notte 125 competes against the Suzuki Burgman Street and Honda Activa 125, though the upcoming Aprilia SXR 125 will probably be a more worthy adversary.
