Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch the new Karizma XMR on August 29 and has now shared a couple of teasers of their upcoming flagship motorcycle.
The latest teaser serves as confirmation that the upcoming Karizma XMR will be equipped with a dual LED projector headlamp setup encircled by supplementary LED headlights. Complementing this setup, H-shaped DRLs adorn both sides of the headlight assembly. This design shift marks a significant departure from the original Karizma as well as the Karizma ZMR.
Another teaser provides a glance at the bike's fairing, characterized by shard design lines. Subsequently, the teaser unveils the front silhouette of the motorcycle.
Also, we recently got the official invite from the manufacturer and in it was a teaser of the instrument console of the upcoming Karizma. The console looks like a coloured LCD unit displaying average speed and fuel efficiency alongside regular readings. The major revelation was that the top speed of the motorcycle might be 143kmph! In another instance, the teaser below confirms that the Karizma XMR will get slipper and assist clutch.
The teaser below confirms that it'll get a 210cc DOHC engine and will get dual-channel ABS. Also, we spotted that the instrument console has a dot-matrix inset that'll likely show turn-by-turn navigation and welcome messages.
In another recent teaser shared by Hero MotoCorp, the side profile of the bike's silhouette is showcased, accompanied by a hint of its availability in the iconic yellow colour scheme of the 1st generation Karizma. Previous sightings of the upcoming motorcycle have already provided valuable insights into its distinct styling.
The upcoming motorcycle will get an all-new 210cc liquid-cooled engine, which is a first for Hero. It is expected to generate around 25PS and 20Nm. Additionally, we acquired some exclusive details of the bike’s chassis sometime back.
Hero MotoCorp's social media handle is also hosting a contest, granting selected winners the opportunity to meet their brand ambassador, Hrithik Roshan.
The Hero Karizma XMR is expected to get a price tag of Rs 1.9 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards and will rival the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
