Hero MotoCorp have launched a new Maestro Edge 125 variant called the Stealth edition. This new variant gets a new matte grey paint scheme with faux carbon fibre stripes, a new livery and a blacked out LED DRL on the apron. It even gets a premium looking textured seat and diamond cut alloy wheels. The new Stealth variant is priced at Rs 72,950 which is Rs 1,500 more than the top spec Self Start Alloy Wheel Disc Brake FI variant. Mechanically, the new variant remains unchanged and continues to use the 124.6cc fuel injected motor that delivers 9.1PS and 10.4Nm.
Besides the new scooter variant, Hero MotoCorp has hiked prices for its scooter range (Check motorcycle range new prices here). They include the Pleasure Plus, Maestro Edge 110 and Destini 125. Here is the updated price list:
The scooter price hike ranges from Rs 500 to Rs 1,350 with the entry-level Pleasure Plus receiving the maximum hike. Interestingly the price hike difference is more than double for the Hero Destini 125 lower and higher variants.
The new price hike is not that much and allows Hero scooters to continue with its USP of being the most affordable scooters in the market.
