Hero Motocorp, the Indian manufacturer will soon introduce a new member Passion Pro, which is going to be the part of Hero iSmart family. This testing mule is expected to be a new variant of the Hero’s second largest selling commuter Passion Pro.

As per the spied images, it looks like a small engine capacity bike that is being tested under heavy camouflage. The iSmart feature of the bike is observed by a blue toggle switch that is placed on the right switchgear exactly like the one that is seen in the Splendor.

In 2013, the company had used the iSmart technology on the Splendor for the very first time, across the globe. The iSmart i3s (idle stop and start system) technology in which the engine stops when the bike is idle and starts again when the clutch is depressed. This technology helps to improve the fuel efficiency and lowers the emission rate as well.

As the pictures suggest, the upcoming motorcycle will have 5spoke black alloy wheels covered with thin tyres, split type grab rails, telescopic suspension at the front and hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. Braking will be performed by drum brakes at both the ends and the exhaust muffler design resembles the one seen in the Glamour 125.

Mechanically, the spotted bike is expected to be housed with an 111cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine which is capable of producing a maximum power of around 8.43PS and 8.30Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated with 4speed gearbox. Currently, the model is under heavy testing, so we expect that the manufacturer will probably unveil this two-wheeled machine at the 2016 Auto Expo.
