In order to better exploit the abilities of the Bluetooth connectivity module on the XPulse 200 twins and the Xtreme 200S, Hero MotoCorp is planning to launch Bluetooth-enabled sunglasses at Rs 2,999. These sunglasses will get open ear speakers so that one can enjoy music on the go.

Once connected to Hero’s mobile application (on iOS or Android), the sunglasses will also be able to narrate turn-by-turn navigation and relay calls. It has a claimed battery life of 2 hours, which should be more than enough for your daily commutes.

Sadly, the biggest shortcoming of the sunglasses will be in low-light situations. We would have liked it more had Hero introduced a basic helmet communication module with the features these sunglasses has, but without the limitation of being a daytime-only accessory. Nevertheless, the sunglasses will be available at Hero outlets soon.
