It costs Rs 1,800 more than the standard rear disc brake-equipped variant
The Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition has been officially launched to commemorate the brand’s achievement of reaching the said production milestone. Priced at Rs 1,08,750 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition is Rs 1,800 more expensive than the standard variant with the rear disc brake. The bike has already reached dealerships, and the booking amount stands at Rs 1,000 (it may vary depending on the dealership).
You also get an exchange offer/loyalty benefit worth Rs 5,000 in select states. Head to your nearest Hero MotoCorp dealership for the fine print. Besides the 160cc naked, the company had unveiled the 100 Million Editions of the Hero Splendor Plus, Passion Pro, Glamour 125, Destini 125, and the Maestro Edge 110 in January this year.
So what’s new on this edition? Well, the changes are merely cosmetic. The bike is draped in a tastefully-done red-white-and-black combo colour scheme. The rest of the features, including the blacked-out powertrain and underpinnings and the red rim stickers, are the same as those of the standard variant. The mechanicals haven’t changed as well. We took the standard edition for a detailed review, and here’s what we think of the motorcycle.

Alternatives to the Hero Xtreme 160R Million Edition include the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ-S FI, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, and the recently-launched 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. It is worth noting that the Apache RTR 160 4V is the most feature-packed and powerful bike in the segment.
