Hero has been on a roll with the introduction of updated models, and this week the Jaipur-based bikemaker introduced the upgraded Xtreme 200S 4V at a price of Rs 1,41,250 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 5,890 more than the 2V model. But if you are still unsure if it’s worth the splurge, here are five alternatives at a similar price:

If you want to be environmentally friendly, the Ather 450X Pro e-scooter is the ideal substitute for the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V. The Ather 450X Pro has a lot more features, such as integrated navigation, a touchscreen console and riding modes, and it is equally engaging to ride as well. Of course, being an EV, it will also be cheaper in the long run, considering the rising cost of fuel.
