Honda 2wheeler association with Amara Raja Batteries

Japan based two-wheeler manufacturer, Honda 2wheeler has recently associated with the country's largest batteries maker, Amara Raja Batteries LTD to build a valve regulated lead acid battery for their two-wheelers in India. The major Batteries manufacturer will develop the new product by the end of current financial year. But, As per the company approval, Amara Raja Batteries Ltd will start the production of lead acid battery during the next fiscal year.
K Suresh, Amara's Chief Financial Officer said, "If all goes well, the batteries will be used by Honda in their two-wheelers in India and if possible in the export market as well." After approving through the company, the batteries will also be going into Hero Honda two-wheelers, which is Indian arm of Japan's based major two-wheeler, Honda. Amara Raja Batteries Ltd, is also presently developing a battery for motorcycles and has got a excellent capacity to develop more than 1.8 million units of batteries per annum.
Honda 2wheeler has recently launched a new sportier version of its existing Honda Unicorn, Honda CB Dazzler in India with the price tag of Rs. 62,900 (ex-showroom-Delhi). On the other hand, the company is also planning to offer into superbike segment by the launching their new superbikes range including Honda Interceptor, Honda Cbx Twister, Honda Vfr and Honda Cbr600rr.
