Honda Activa 125 to be launched on 28th April; Price, Features, Specs, Pics

The most awaited 125cc automatic scooter is all set to be launched on 28th April 2014 in Mumbai and Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Limited (HMSI) has already started the bookings for Activa 125. Standard variant of the scooter has been priced at Rs. 52,447, while the Deluxe (Disc and Alloy) variant will cost you Rs. 58,156 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).

Honda Activa is the top selling scooter in 110cc segment and same is expected from its elder sibling- Honda Activa 125. The contenders in the 125cc scooter segment are not doing well, therefore the level of competition with-in the segment is low for the Activa 125. So, the new scooter can also create a strong presence in the market.

Currently, Mahindra Two Wheelers, Suzuki Motorcycles and Vespa offers 125cc scooters in India. Vespa offers premium scooters- LX 125, VX 125 and S models in India, which are too costly, while Mahindra and Suzuki are on the way of making a stable brand value. However, Honda Activa 125 has a leading brand value in the scooter segment and has been priced quite reasonably.
