Here’s what you get with the Standard and Deluxe variants
Honda has launched its sixth-generation Activa 6G in India. The new BS6-compliant scooter gets an all-new motor besides a few cosmetic and feature updates (all the details here). Like its predecessor, the Activa 6G is available in two variants: Standard and Deluxe. Get details here.
Features:
Like before, the more premium Activa 6G Deluxe variant gets an LED headlamp. The Standard variant, meanwhile, comes with a halogen headlamp setup. Interestingly, both the Activa 5G DLX and Std variants came with an LED headlamp. The only difference between those two was the inclusion of a semi-digital instrument console in the DLX variant.
Barring the LED headlamp, there is no difference between the Activa 6G’s two variants. Both come with features like ACG starter, external fuel filler cap, pass light switch, and engine kill switch. Both miss out on alloy wheels and a front disc brake.
Pricing:
The Activa 6G Standard variant is priced at Rs 63,912 while the Deluxe variant costs Rs 65,412 (both ex-showroom Delhi) -- a price difference of Rs 1,500. In comparison, the difference between the Activa 5G Std and DLX variants is Rs 1,865.
It makes more sense to spend extra and go for the higher-spec Activa 6GDeluxe variant as you get better headlamp illumination.
The new Activa 6G will reach Honda dealership by the end of January.
