Cruisers, advs, sportbikes and many other options, all of which can be chosen for about the same price
Honda recently updated the price of the CB300R, making the bike a bit more competitive with the other bikes in the 300cc segment. But if you are someone who isn’t looking for a naked motorcycle, then this list of other options, that are quite similar in price to the Honda CB300R, is for you.
Harley-Davidson X440
The Harley-Davidson X440 is the first product that came out of Hero MotorCorp’s partnership with the iconic Harley-Davidson brand. The roadster is powered by a 440cc air-/oil-cooled engine that puts out 27.37PS and 38NM, and features a TFT instrument cluster with an LED headlight and indicators. The bike comes at a price tag of Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the base variant.
Royal Enfield Himalayan
If you are someone who loves off-road riding, the Himalayan is a good choice in this segment. The bike is powered by a 411cc air-/oil-cooled engine that makes 24.31PS and 32Nm. It comes at a price of Rs 2.28 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
KTM RC 200
If you’re not looking for a relaxed pottering through the city or an adventure outside it, and seek the thrill and excitement that comes with speed, then the KTM RC 200 will be the right choice for you. The supersport is really good at corners and will make your weekend rides around the twisties a memorable experience. The KTM RC 200 is powered by a 199.5 cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 25.8PS and 19Nm, and is priced at Rs 2.18 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
TVS Apache RTR 310
If your heart is still with naked motorcycles then the TVS RTR 310 is what you should be looking at. Not only does it pack loads more features than the CB300R, but its 312.12cc liquid-cooled engine also has much higher output figures, namely 35.6PS and 28.7Nm.
Royal Enfield Meteor 350
And finally, if you’re someone who takes things at a relaxed phase, travels the city during the week and goes for long rides on the weekends, then the Meteor 350 cruiser is the perfect bike for you. It is powered by a 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 20.4PS and 27Nm. Its prices start at around Rs 2.03 lakh for the base variant, and go up to Rs 2.26 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
