The premium quarter liter and 150cc heartthrobs from Honda have been released in three new refreshing colours and attractive graphics at the Honda Revfest event that held in 8 Indian cities today. Honda CBR 250R and CBR 150R will now come in some more appealing graphics and additional three new paint schemes. The premium middleweight Honda CBR 650F and the naked 160cc CB Hornet were also launched at the event.
Honda CBR 250R comes powered by a 249cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine that comes mated to a six-speed transmission. The engine churns out a net power of 28.6bhp at 9,000rpm with a peak torque of 23Nm at 7,500rpm. On the other hand, its younger sibling, the Honda CBR 150R is propelled by a 149.5cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine that couples with a six-speed gearbox as well. The 150cc mill cranks out a peak power of 16.9bhp at 10,500rpm with a maximum torque of 13Nm at 7,500rpm. Both bikes have been assisted with Programmed Fuel Injection System (PGM-Fi) that ensures a crisp throttle response with a seamless power delivery.
Honda CBR 250R and CBR 150R shares most of the body aesthetics with each other. The front profile receives a single headlamp section with twin pilot lamps giving a predatory look in the dark. The full front fairing dresses up the bike quite impressively and enhances the visuals. The bike features a sporty split, step up seat that comes well-padded and neatly stitched. The muffler has been given a short and sporty appearance that further revs up the aggression of the machine. Coming towards the rear, the bikes have been bestowed with a sharp triangular tail lamp and clear lens turning blinkers.
