The faired 150cc bike- Honda CBR150R has received new paint schemes in Thailand with three vibrant colour options- Modish White, Iconic Red and Double Black. The scheme includes a new and sportier dual tone graphic pattern with carbon fiber touch, while monikers remain the same. Apart from these cosmetic changes, the bike hasn't got any mechanical alteration.
Honda CBR150R looks identical to its elder sibling CBR250R, which has been styled on the lines of VFR1200F. It comes with a sporty, full body fairing with all the racing sport features including clip-on handlebars, split seat, transparent windshield, digital-analog console, front telescopic forks and rear mono-shock suspension, dual disc brakes, short muffler and wide 130/70 rear tyre.
Thrusting the Honda CBR150R is an advanced 149.4cc, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine, powered by PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) system. Mated to a six speed gearbox, the high revving engine churns out 17.57bhp of raw power at 10,500rpm along with a top torque of 12.66Nm at 8,500rpm.
Since its inception in India in March 2012, Honda CBR150R hasn't received any noticeable update unlike its competitor- Yamaha R15, which receives updates from time to time to keep the buyers on their toes. However, we expect to see a new avatar of the bike in 2015 with major variations in the model.
