More power and better suspension accentuate its sporty appeal
Honda has launched the updated CBR250RR in Indonesia, which for 2023, has received several crucial updates.
The meatiest change to the supersport would be increased power. Thanks to a higher compression ratio, the bike is now able to churn out an impressive 42PS (it was earlier 40PS), while the torque remains the same, at 25Nm, from its 249cc parallel twin engine.
Another change that will be appreciated by track day enthusiasts would be the inclusion of Showa Separate Function Big Piston inverted fork. Furthermore, the bike now incorporates three riding modes, and a slipper-assist clutch for smoother downshifts. Other bits that were seen previously, like an optional quickshifter on the top variants, make the bike’s race-bred character shine even brighter.

As for looks and styling, the Indonesia-spec 2023 CBR250RR gets new colour and graphics.
Honda has priced the 2023 CBR250RR at Rp 62,850,000 (approximately Rs 3.35 lakh). That said, the bike is unlikely to come to India. So your only option in the quarter litre sportbike segment here is the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
