We recently found that Honda has set a countdown on its official website, which indicates that they will unveil a whole new range of motorcycles by 12th November. However, no details have been given about the bikes on the site yet. But we know that, which bikes are these. These are the same bikes of which we recently brought you spy images during a commercial shoot in Italy; the Honda CBR500, CB500 & CB500X. The whole new range of mid-sized bikes have been designed especially for the European and Asian markets. After unveiling these bikes on 12th November, Honda will showcase these bikes in Upcoming Milan Motorcycle show from 15th-18th November.
All the three bikes are different in terms of styling, however these bikes share most parts, so that Honda can place their prices aggressively. The Honda CBR500 is a full faired machine, while the CB500 and CB500X are naked versions of the CBR500. Nothing has been said officially, but we are expecting CBR500 to be powered by a 470cc, parallel-twin engine employing liquid cooling. The twin cylinder will produce 46.9bhp of peak power and 40.65Nm of peak torque. Although it is early to comment but we are expecting Honda CBR500 in India as well, the bike will fill the much needed space in between Honda CBR250R and 600. The bike might have a price tag around Rs. 3.5 lakh and will likely to compete with Kawasaki Ninja 650.
