Honda's new moped concept previewed in detailed images
Honda unveiled its new CT 125 moped concept at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. The concept offers a fun off-road element to the mundane moped. Let’s check out its details in this image gallery.

The CT 125 looks like a stripped-down Honda Super Cub 125. It loses the bodywork so should you drop it off the road or on the beach, there would be minimal damage as there is not much that would break off.
The CT 125 misses out on the headlamp cowl but retains the LED lighting. The wide handlebar gets a brace for added rigidity and has two large LED indicators mounted on both ends.
The tail lamp appears to have LED lighting as well.
The round instrument console has a full digital readout.
The concept does look sporty with the red paintwork with blacked-out parts. To protect the front forks from dirt during mild off-road riding, the CT 125 gets rubber gaiters (covers).
Extra protection comes in the form of a metal tubing running along both sides of the motor. It also serves as a mount for the underbelly guard. The 125cc fuel-injected motor appears to be the same as the one on the Monkey 125.
The scrambler-like high-mounted exhaust unit should improve the water-wading capabilities of the CT 125. It gets perforated heat shields that run along its entire length.
Even the air intake has been moved higher. This should allow the CT 125 to cross streams without worry.
The rear rack is longer and wider than the one on the Super Cub 125. The production variant could get the Trail Hunter name.
For improved off-road capability, the CT 125 gets a shorter steel front fender, spoke wheels and dual-purpose tyres.
It also gets front and rear disc brakes with a single-channel ABS unit.
