The bigger Forza variant will land in the West next month
Europe is the spiritual home of the maxi-scooter so it’s quite apt that Honda’s latest and greatest Forza 350 maxi-scooter is finally going to be launched in the continent. Honda Europe has put out a tiny 15 second teaser video, but what it lacks in length, it makes up for in information. Because it categorically tells us that the Forza 350 will make its European debut on 14 October 2020.
The scooter itself first broke cover in Thailand in July, carrying on where the previous Forza 300 left off. It retains the 4-valve liquid-cooled single-cylinder architecture, but displacement is up from 279cc to 329.60cc. As a result, power and torque are both up by around 16 percent, at 29.4PS and 31.97Nm on the Forza 350.
It’s quite a feature-rich scooter too, coming with gizmos like an electrically adjustable windscreen, keyless operation, USB charging, semi-digital instrumentation, traction control, disc brakes at both ends and dual-channel ABS. It also has tons of storage space, with cubbyholes on the back of the apron adding on to a humongous underseat storage compartment that can swallow two half-face helmets with ease.
We’re glad to see European customers receive the opportunity to buy this scooter, but we wish we had the same privilege too. Honda Two Wheelers India had previously expressed a desire to bring the Forza 300 to India, and we hope the Forza 350 can rekindle this discussion.
