Honda hints at launching a powerful scooter on 12th June

After splitting with Hero, the Honda two wheeler India seems very aggressive with its strategies for the Indian auto market. The Japanese arm has recently revised its complete scooter lineup, and launched the Trigger 150cc and Dream Neo 110cc motorcycles. Both the motorcycles are still to set the Indian roads on fire, but Honda is aggressive and set to announce another new vehicle for India.

There are no more details revealed by the firm, just one question "ready to fly?", making it a bit surprising and difficult to expect what next is coming. However, our sources suggest that Honda will launch a powerful scooter. It is speculated that the company might launch a powerful 150cc scooter or a 125cc scooter.

We expect that the Honda India might go for 125cc scooter, as the company doesn't have a single product in this segment. Other competitors already have their products in 125cc segment like Suzuki Swish, Mahindra Duro and Piaggio Vespa. Nothing official has come out, but it is also expected that the scooter will produce around 9bhp of power and class leading fuel economy, thanks to HET technology. On 12th of June, the launch will take place.
