As you can see from the table, buying the extended warranty within three months of purchase will cost a lot less than buying it later. The standard warranty is either three years or 42,000km, whichever comes earlier. Honda offers the first three services free of charge. Here are the details:

Services

Distance / Days from the date of purchase (whichever comes earlier)

1st service

750-1,000km / 15-30 days

2nd service

5,500-6,000km / 165-180 days

3rd service

11,500-12,000km / 350-365 days

So, essentially, the service is free for the first year. Of course, this means only the labour charge will be free of cost. The consumables will be charged as usual. After the aforementioned duration/distance, the paid service starts every six months or 6,000km, whichever comes earlier. If your motorcycle breaks down, worry not, as Honda offers roadside assistance programme pan-India. It costs Rs 1,499 and covers unlimited towing coverage and breakdowns for a year.

Honda also says that minor repairs can be done on the spot, but in case fuel is required or if there are any punctures, they will be charged. Even though the service is pan-India, it does not include certain parts of Jammu and Kashmir as well as a few eastern states, presumably because of Honda BigWing’s limited reach. Honda also offers various accessories for the H’Ness CB350, and you can read all about it here.
