The premium is slightly on the steeper side compared to the drum variant
Honda might have launched the Livo BS6 a while ago but the Japanese bikemaker has finally come around to announcing the prices of the 110cc commuter’s disc variant. The disc variant now carries a sticker price of Rs 74,256 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 12,606 extra over the BS4 model. The BS6 drum model is Rs 4,200 cheaper, making the disc variant’s pricing a bit steep for the extra safety aid. The shocking bit here is that the Livo BS6 disc trim is more dearer than the larger capacity Honda Shine 125.
You find the same 109.51cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine on the Livo BS6 as you do on the CD 110 Dream. The engine tune also remains unchanged between the two 110cc Honda commuter siblings as it puts out 8.79PS and 9.30Nm. These new figures are slightly different to its BS4 counterpart which produced 0.37PS and 0.21Nm less from its 109.19cc mill.
The Livo BS6 gets an engine kill switch but aside from that there are no further updates. You would be hard pressed to find further changes unless you took out the measuring tape to check the seat length or its ground clearance. More details in this story.
